Step by Step Tutorial:

Alright, everyone, let’s make some magic happen on paper! Are you ready? Let’s dive right into drawing a vibrant rainbow with two cheerful clouds.

Step 1: First, let’s start with the clouds. Draw two curved lines on the bottom of your page – it’s like drawing a lowercase “c,” but with the curve opening towards the bottom. Start with the cloud on the left side and create a long, uneven line by connecting 4 or 5 “c” shapes. Repeat the same step on the right side. These lines will form the upper edges of our clouds. We’ll add the lower parts of the clouds later, so keep that in mind as you create your fluffy shapes.

Step 2: Now, let’s create our rainbow! Draw a curved line connecting both clouds, just like the top of a big smile. This will serve as the bottom of our rainbow.

Then, start again next to the line you’ve just created and draw a bigger curved line above it in a similar shape. Make it slightly higher than the previous line. Repeat this step until you have drawn a total of 8 curved lines, each one slightly higher than the one before and watch your rainbow come to life!

Step 3: Now, it’s time to draw the lower part of the clouds. Add a big, puffy cloud shape at one end of the rainbow, extending the uneven line you previously drew. Try to make it look like a cute, oval-shaped cloud. Add another fluffy cloud on the other end in a similar shape, by drawing the bottom irregular line. Don’t forget to give your clouds friendly faces with two eyes and a smiling mouth. And why not add some rosy cheeks for an extra touch of cuteness?

Step 4: Let’s bring this drawing to life with colours! Choose bright and vibrant colours for your rainbow. Most of the rainbows that we see are called the primary rainbow and has seven colours. Let’s start colouring from inner edge, first colour is violet, then indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and outer edge is red. Colour each arc of the rainbow with a different colour, blending them seamlessly for a beautiful effect. When colouring the clouds, opt for a soft shade of white or light blue to achieve that airy and dreamy look.

Conclusion:

Remember, practice makes progress! Enjoy the process of creating, and don’t worry if your drawing isn’t perfect on the first try. The most important thing is to have fun and let your imagination soar. Keep practicing, and you’ll become a true master of bringing life to your drawings. Happy drawing, everyone!
